As part of the first-night class session, the instructor assigned a 15 minute project. Divided into Group 1 and Group 2, each group was given a certain amount of supplies (a box of paper clips, a roll of masking tape, 41 sheets of typing paper, a file folder, and 5 index cards) to build a self-standing structure at least 5-feet tall. The underlying goal of this "fun" project was to promote ingenuity, leadership, and teamwork using only the materials on hand.
